VR Treasure Hunt Game-Finding puppy

1. Make GIFs

Click "Window" > "Timeline" in Photoshop.

 

Create a new Video timeline.



 

There will be a clip on the timeline. On the left or right side of the clip, hold the left button and drag to crop it.

 

 

Press Ctrl +J to copy the layer, and then crop the clip to appropriate.



 

Click the icon button (or press “L”) to switch to the Lasso tool. Select the areas to be deleted, such as the text.

 

Duplicate three layers in the same way as above, delete the unwanted parts, and keep the graphics to be dynamic. Cut and align the end of clip.

In the bottom left of the timeline, press the icon button (selected area) to switch to the traditional mode of GIF editing.

 

You can select the number of seconds to switch clips.

 

When done, you can save for a web format by pressing the key “Alt +Shift+ Ctrl +S”.

Remember to change to a GIF file.

 

2.Create MAKAR project

Create a new project on the top left.

 

Select VR ->Blank project, set the project name and upload VR 360 images, then click "OK" to finish the process.

 

3.Import materials

The required materials are as follows.

Includes 1 MP3 sound effect, 5 cat and dog picture cards, 5 yes/no GIF cards, and 1 VR 360 image(already uploaded).

 

Import all needed material, click “New Resources” on the left > “Image”.

 

 

Import the audio file in the same way.

 

The final materials are as follows.

 

4. Materials arrangement

Drag the cat and dog cards to the scene.

 

With the Camera Angle of VR Camera, use the dice on the top right of the image to switch to the top view, and make the card angle vertical to the camera Angle.

 

Finally, arrange all the cat, dog, tree cards as the image.

 

5.Answer correct or wrong interactive effect

Select the dog card and click “Add Action” > “Show Image”.

 

A window will pop up, and then select the correct image to display, and then click “OK”.

 

 

As we play other VR games, there is a buffer time when the cursor moves to the object, and there is a small circle that stays until enough time to execute, so we choose “Delay Trigger” here.

 

We also want to play sound effects after the correct answer, and then click “Add Action” > “Play Music”.

 

Find the music material from the scene object on the left. The music material will become an emoji of the card.

 

In edit mode, the music will be playing continuously. There may be some interference during editing, so you can click the eye icon of music in the scene objects, so that the sound will pause.

 

Finally, confirm the action of all pictures, display images and delay the execution, and with the VR Camera perspective, display the interactive pictures appropriately.

 

Last, remember to turn on the eye icon of the music before publishing, so that the sound effect will work.

 

6.Let’s take a look

 

Open App:MAKAR on your mobile, input ID：Class03，remember to select VR. Press Experience to scan, and you’ll see the result!
